For this example problem: What is wrong with this cell diagram? Ag(s) / AgBr(s) // Br-(aq) / Br2(g)
is the only thing wrong with it the missing Pt(s)?

Yes, you need to have a conducting solid metal for both the anode and cathode.

You need to have Pt(s) for the cathode because there is no solid metal on that side.

Yes, because Br2 is a gas, you must have Pt as the solid metal electrode on the right hand side.
