How can I determine the maximum work done by a cell in standard state conditions?

### Re: Cell Work

The maximum work that a cell can do is equal to the change in Gibbs free energy of the cell.

### Re: Cell Work

The maximum work done is related to the formula standard free energy = n*F*Ecell.

Make sure not to get confused with the maximum work available to a thermodynamical system, in which wmax=-q
