What's the difference between finding deltaG here vs other problems like in thermodynamics?

Here you can pretty much measure delta G instead of using delta H, delta S, etc to calculate it.

There's not really a huge difference. You can apply what we've learned about delta H and delta S to help you find delta G now.

This delta G is based off of knowing the delta H and delta S.

Gibbs also involves K which was not seen in the main section of thermo

Also, Delta G cannot be calculated by itself, its a derived value basically.
