Postby AngieGarcia_4F » Sun Feb 23, 2020 10:07 pm

Does anyone know what values we assume if told something happens under STP?

STP means standard temperature and pressure, during which the pressure is 1atm and temperature is 273K (or 0 degrees Celcius).

Exactly. And I believe that we don't need to remember this, because the meaning of STP would be given and clearly explained when it appears on the test, just like what happened in the midterm.

We need to assume 273 K/0 C temperature and 1 atm pressure under STP.

1 atm and 273.5K, although in the midterm it was written on the board so i'm assuming if you don't memorize it it could be okay (?)

273 K and 1atm under STP. It should be provided during tests.

Just remember that STP(273.15K) and standard state conditions (298.15K) are not the same.
