N value
I know that n is the electrons but is it the one that is shown on the reactions when it says for example 2e-? Would the n be 2 in that case?

N is the number of moles of e- transferred. So yes, N equals the coefficient of the e- in the equation.

yep! unless one half reaction has 2e- and the other has 4e-, then n=4 because it is the lowest common multiple.

yes, you must balance both half-reactions to see if the electrons exchanged is the same, and if not multiply by a coefficient so they cancel out when they are added together to create the full balanced reaction. This value that cancels is your n.

You just half to make sure that the number of electrons cancel out in both of the half reactions. But to answer your question yes it would be 2.

You have to balance the reduction and oxidation half reactions and then see how many electrons are added in order to balance the charges. The number of electrons is the n value.

Yes, 2 would be n since n is the number of electrons being transferred, but make sure your half-reactions are balanced!
