What do we need to know about the relationship between free energy and cell potentials?

Probably negative free energy means positive E(cell) potential. There's also an equation I believe that you should know, it's on the equation sheet.

is an important equation. You can replace with work also.

If Ecell > 0, then the deltaG is more negative. That shows a spontaneous reaction.
