K is the equilibrium constant and Q is when it is not at equilibrium

Q should be used when the reaction is not at equilibrium.

K is used when the reaction is specified as being at equilibrium while Q is used when the reaction is not at equilibrium.

Q is used at any point in the reaction when it is not at equilibrium.

You will use K when the reaction is at equilibrium and Q when the reaction is not at equilibrium.

Use K when reactions are at equilibrium, Q when they are not. Q determines which side of the reaction is favored.

you should use K when the problem is at equilibrium, and Q when the problem is not specifically indicated to be at equilibrium.

K indicates the equation is at equilibrium. Q indicates that the equation is not at equilibrium.

K values are used when the reaction is currently in equilibrium. However, if the reaction is not in equilibrium, the value Q is used instead.

K is the equilibrium constant and therefore used at equilibrium. Q is used whenever the equation is not at equilibrium or when initial concentrations are given rather than equilibrium concentrations.

If the reaction is at equilibrium, then K is used, but if the reaction is not at equilibrium then Q is used.

K is used when the reaction is at equilibrium and Q is used when it’s not

K is used when the situation concerns the reaction at equilibrium; Q is used when the situation concerns the reaction at any point besides equilibrium

K is when the reaction is at equilibrium. Q is at any other point in the reaction

Q is used when the reaction is not at equilibrium, while K is used when the reaction is at equilibrium.
