### Finding k1 when given two temperatues

When given two temperatures and asked to find one of the K’s, how do we know which temperature is T1 and K1?
Does it matter?

The starting temperature is T1 and it is associated with K1; the final temperature is T2 and it is associated with K2.

Yes, it does not really matter which one is T1 and which one is T2, as long as they're correctly matched with their respective K values.

I'm pretty sure T1 should always be the initial value and T2 should be the value it is changed to (the resulting value).

T1 and K1 need to correlate, and T2 and K2 need to correlate. The order only matters in regard to changing whether there is a negative sign or not.

You don't really KNOW which is T1 and K1, you more assign given values. Despite this, whichever you choose to be T1 and K1 must correlate with one another. I usually label the initial temp and k as T1 and K1, then the second temp as T2 to find K2 (the unknown value). As long as you keep the related ones together, you should be find.
