2013 Final Q3C

Under what conditions would we use logQ instead of lnQ in the nernst equation? I was using ln for this problem, but in the answer key we use log.

I think if the temperature is at 25 degrees celsius, you can use either. If it isn't you would use ln.

The equations are interchangeable, but the one that does not include T in the equation assumes the reaction proceeds at 298K.
