### Nernst Equation Versions

Could someone explain when we would use this equation E=Eo−(0.0592V/n)logQ versus this equation E=Eo-(0.0257/n)lnQ?

You can use both equations for any situation in which you can use the Nernst equation. They should both get you the same answer. It is just a matter of preference and log is usually used when the numbers given for concentrations is to the 10s (.1 or .001) because it is easier to find the log of such numbers compared to the ln.
