What does the Nernst equation exactly tell us?

The Nernst equation allows us to calculate E based on the standard electric potential, temperature, and concentrations of a redox reaction.

In addition to what was stated above, the Nernst equation allows us to estimate the potentials of cells under nonstandard conditions.

It lets us calculate the voltage of any concentration of reactants and products.
