For part a. in the solution manual the value of Q is 10^6, but I keep getting 3269017. What am I doing wrong? Isn't the e^15=3269017.

Your answer is correct, and the solutions manuals just rounds down to 10^6 to have one significant figure.

I think that's the right answer. The book might just have the wrong answer. If you follow all the steps in the solutions manual, you should end up with e15 = 3269017, not 106

Yes, the actual number should be 3269017. The answer gives 10^6 because this part is the most significant one.
