Balancing redox reactions, cell potential, electrical work and how it relates to free energy etc... Material covered in week 6 and 7 up to (but not including) Nernst equation.

Gibbs Free Energy will also be on the test! I believe Lavelle posted an announcement on his website on what would be on the test

I believe it's up to either section 14.7 or 14.8 (for the sixth edition)

For the seventh edition you should look at the following chapters:
Gibbs Free Energy: 4J, 5G, 5J
Electrochem: 6K, 6L, 6M

Return to “Appications of the Nernst Equation (e.g., Concentration Cells, Non-Standard Cell Potentials, Calculating Equilibrium Constants and pH)”
