In the Nernst equation when do you use log vs. ln?

I believe you can use them interchangeably, the only thing is I think that log is a more common version of the equation.

also, log is used when dealing with pH

it's more common to use log especially when dealing with pH, but otherwise they can be used interchangeably when ln x = 2.303 log x

You can use either or. I believe log is used more frequently with PH.

They are used interchangeably, but log is usually associated with pH!

You can use either, but if you are converting between ln and log, use lnx=2.303logx
