### Nernst Equation

When using the Nernst equation for concentration how does finding Q help us find the concentration we are looking for?

The Nernst Equation E=E°-(RT)/(NF)lnQ can be used to find the concentration by solving in all the known values and then solving for Q. Then you can write down the formula for Q based on the reaction of the problem and plug in the known molarities to solve for the specific element's concentration you wish to find.
