what determines whether something is a concentration cell or not? for example, in 6N3, how do we determine which reactions are concentration cells? Thanks in advance!

Concentration cells are galvanic cells in which both the anode and cathode have the same element.

Re: concentration cells
a concentration cell is comprised of two half cells in which the anode and cathode are the same element but have different concentrations. also E standard=0

Re: concentration cells
Concentration cells are galvanic/voltaic cells comprised of the same electrodes, but differing in concentrations. Electrons will typically transfer from the cell with lower concentration to the one with higher concentration.
