Nernst Equation

I've seen the different versions of the Nernst equation but when do we know whether to apply one of the other?

I think it depends on what information you're given, so what you're working with. I believe there is only two versions of the Nernst equation though: one with lnQ and one with logQ.

Got it! But when do we use lnQ rather than logQ and vice versa?

It doesn't really matter whether you use the ln Q or log Q equation. Some people prefer the log Q equation because on the equations sheet, you are given 0.05916V/n and you do not have to calculate R*T/nF, which you have to calculate with the ln Q equation.
