### Concentration Cells

How do you know which side is oxidized and reduced in concentration cells?

I believe in a concentration cell usually oxidation occurs at the cell with the lower concentration (so this will be the anode) and reduction occurs at the cell with higher concentration (cathode).

You make the one with the lower concentration the product and figure out if it's oxidation or reduction.
