DIY Battery

Postby anasofia » Sun Mar 17, 2024 11:48 pm

Just a for fun question, in class prof. lavelle discussed the basis of how to build a concentration cell/battery if you're stranded on an island you get two halves of a coconut (or non conductive containers), one side is filled with salt water, one side has far more diluted salt water, this creates the voltage difference, and you connect teh two halves with a wire to conduct. I am wondering how one would harness the power of this concentration cell in a practical scenario.

u could like put the wire in contact with a phone charger to charge it like 0.0000001%
