The units for the rate of a reaction are moles per liter per unit of time.

Typically the unit for rates is mol per liter per time unit.

Usually written as mol.L-1.s-1, which makes sense given that the rate can be represented by d[A]/dt, where [A] is in mol per liter over the time (dt)

Adding on, keep in mind that these units are the same for all rates regardless of order; because of this, the k constant of the reaction will have different units based on the reaction's order.

It's moles per liter per time in sec. However, the units for k will change depending on what order of reaction it is.
