Liquid Scintillation Counter

Postby Aarthi_Lakshmi_2A » Sun Feb 19, 2017 11:38 pm

What is a liquid scintillation counter and how can it detect the number of high energy electrons? Why is it even necessary to detect the number of high energy electrons?

A liquid scintillation counter is frequently used for the detection and quantification of radioactivity. It works by measuring the intensity of beta particles.
