Quiz 2 Thursday question

In quiz 2, was there a preequilibrium problem? During the test I thought this was one was..."The standard of living.... Haber-bosch process for production of ammonia in fertilizers, however the reaction has a huge activation energy, and catalysts are bring employed to aid rxn... where the first equation was the slow step and the second one was the fast one...there was both a catalyst and intermediate... so my question is.. if this problem is the pre-equilibrium how do you solve for the rate law when you have both a catalyst and intermediate?

You do not use the pre equilibria approach if the first step is the slow step. Remember, the slow step is the rate determining step, so just write the rate law for that.
