the rate of reduction/formation of a reactant/product divided by its respective stoichiometric coefficient. every single species in a chemical reaction should have the same unique rate.

The unique rate is the specific rate for the reaction (it does not relate directly to any reactant/product's individual rate in the reaction).
However, using the stoichiometric coefficients of the reactants/products, the unique rate can be used to find the specific reactants'/products' individual rates.

Its important to note that everything in the reaction should have the same unique rate.
