How do you determine the rate law for a reaction with more than one reactant?

Typically when we're asked this question, they provide us with a couple different experiments and their corresponding initial concentrations of each reactant as well as the initial reaction rate. To find the orders of each reactant, you would compare experiments that differ in only one reactant's initial concentration. We will be provided with all the experimental data necessary to finding each reactant's order, and then you can write the rate law once you've found all that info.

Yes, to add to what the person before me said, your equation for the rate law should look something like this: Rate=k[A]^n [B]^m

You would be given a table typically and have to use the data in the table to determine how changes in concentration of reactant would affect the reaction rate, which would give you the order of each of the reactants
