Stoichiometry coefficients

Can you ever determine the rate law only from the stoichiometry coefficients of a reaction?

The rate law is determined experimentally; the stoichiometric coefficients are not enough to write a rate law and determine the order.

The rate law cannot be determined only from the stoichiometric coefficients of a reaction.
