What is the difference between rate laws and integrated rate laws?

There are two types of rate laws. One of them is the differntial rate law, and the other is the integrated rate law. The differential rate law depends on the concentration and describes the reactions rate in terms of (delta) [R] / (delta) t. The integrated rate law is the integration of the differential rate law andit describes the reaction rate in terms of the initial concentration.

The differential rate law is the rate as a function of the concentration and the integrated rate law is the rate as a function of time.

The primary difference is that the integrated rate law utilizes the initial rate and is a function of time.
