### 15.8 The Rate Laws of Elementary Reactions

How do you determine which reaction is the slowest and when to add or subtract it from the others. Basically, I need help understanding all of 15.8.

I know that the reaction that is the "slow step" will have the same reaction rate as the overall reaction.
