Time it takes to reach a certain molarity

The rate of AB4 gas consumption in this reaction is constant throughtout and is given as 0.400M/s. If your reaction vessel starts with 0.15M of B2C, how long will it take to get to 30M of B2C? : AB4 + C2 --> AC2 + B2C

Well first off you have to balance the equation:

AB4+2C2->AC2+2B2C

Then you can set up the rate where:

The consumption of AB4= deltaAB4/deltat= .400M/s

Then we can infer that the production of B2C= (½) (delta[B24])/delta t which equals .400M/s
We plug in the 30M-.15M for delta B24 multiply the ½ over to the .400M/s and get .800M/s and then solve for delta t from there.
