How do you determine the units of the rate constant for: Rate=k [A]/[C]

okay so I usually solve for it
you know that rate is mol*L^-1*s^-1
so what I always do is this:
mol*L^-1*s^-1=k [A]/[C]
you know the units of A and C are mol*L^-1 so you can divide the other side and find the units for k
its always a good idea to go back and test your units of k out to make sure

Units are equivalent to 1/M^(overall order-1)*unit of time
