Differential vs. Integrated Rate Law

Postby Mindy Kim 4C » Mon Mar 04, 2019 6:31 pm

What is the difference between the differential rate law and the integrated rate law?

Differential rate law is where the rate is a function of [R]. Integrated rate law is where rate is a function of time.

You integrate the differential rate law to get the integrated rate law. They result in different graphs (rate v concentration and rate v time).
