Unique rate of reaction

Postby Kassidy Tran 1E » Tue Mar 05, 2019 8:47 pm

In homework problem 15.3 in the 6th edition, the question asks for the unique rate of reaction for 2NO2 —> 2NO + O2. How do you calculate the unique rate of reaction? Is the unique rate of reaction the same as the differential rate law?

The unique rate of a reaction is not the same as the differential rate law. Check notes from last Friday because that's when we learned about the unique rate of a reaction. Also on page 613 of the sixth edition textbook, they introduce the unique rates. Hope this helps!

could someone explain how you go about solving for the unique rate using the equation I was a bit confused with how the solutions manual showed how to for this same homework question
