Do we have to know how to derive the rate formulas using the derivative/integration?

You should be able to manipulate the formulas given on the formula sheet to accommodate the given information.

No, just know where they come from and how.

The rate formulas are given on the constants and equations sheet, but you have to know yourself which equation corresponds with which reaction order.
