Dependence on Concentration
So I know that the rate constant and equilibrium constant both depend on the concentrations, but what is the relationship between the two besides that? If we have one, can we calculate the other?

Re: Dependence on Concentration
Other than that, they aren't really related. The equilibrium constant is just the ratio of which products and reactants will be when the reaction is at equilibrium. The rate constant affects how fast the reaction will occur based on the concentrations of the reaction (depending on the order of the reaction).
Also, to be able to use the equilibrium constant, the reaction is at equilibrium, meaning there is no net change in concentrations of reactant and product, meaning the net rate of the reaction is zero.

Re: Dependence on Concentration
As stated above, I believe that there isn't really much of a strong relation between the two. Besides the fact they use the letter k and are constants, they relate two different things.
