Coefficients and change of molar concentration

If the concentration of a molecule [A] is doubled, does the coefficient of the molecule reflect this change of concentration? So would a[A] then be 2[A]?

not necessarily because aA is in terms of just moles while concentration is in molarity which is moles per liter so they may not be directly proportional, though they could be
