In the 1st question, why do we divide the rate by 2? Also by looking at the reaction, is it possible to determine the order of the reaction?

Rate = -1/2 Δ[R]/Δt = -1/2[6.0-10.0](mmol MBr2/L)/200 sec = 0.01 mmol MBr2/L.s

Divide by 2 because the balanced reaction is: 2MBr2 + O2 ----> 2MO + 2Br2
