mmol vs mol
Does it matter whether our answer is given in mmol or mol? Because for example, in the 6th edition, problem 17, the rate constant and rate answers are given in mmol whereas in problem 19, the rate constant and rate answers are given in mol. Will we get marked off if we give either on the final?

Re: mmol vs mol
as long as your conversions are correct and you give the answer in the correct units (if explicitly asked) then that is the only time it really matters

Re: mmol vs mol
Yeah it matters which one you use depending on the question you are trying to solve, since if the question asks for mmol, then use mmol, and vice versa. They should hopefully let you know in the question towards which units to use, since either they'll be provided, or it'll be specifically asked. :)

If conversions are correct you should be fine, but I would keep in mind what units the problem gives.

Re: mmol vs mol
If the problem does not specify what units your answer should be in then it doesn't matter which one you use.

Re: mmol vs mol
As long as the conversion is correct it should not matter. However, the best practice may be to give your answer in the units that were stated in the question.
