Clarification

Postby 106019658 » Wed Mar 13, 2024 11:25 pm

is it accurate to say that zero order reactions occur if any of the reactants are present regardless of how much of the reactant is present?

Yes because in zero-order reactions, the rate does not depend on the reactant concentrations. So you can say zero order occurs regardless.

Hi 106019658,
With zero-order reactions, the rate is independent of the change in concentration of the reactant. So yes I believe that you can say zero-order reactions will occur if ay of the reactants are present regardless of their initial concentration.
