Zero Graph

Postby 505997354 » Sun Mar 17, 2024 11:17 pm

Hello,
I remember seeing 2 graphs for zero order, one had a positive slope and the other had a straight line? Are there different ways to interepret zero order?

The straight line you saw was probably a graph of the slope of the first linear line. The zeroth order should have a linear line with a negative slope, though, not a positive one, because the concentration of the reactants decreases over time. This graph is the representation of the instantaneous rate of a zeroth order reaction.

a straight line graph was to show that the slope stays constant over time!
