Hello!

So I know that if we plot [A] vs time and we get a straight line, then the zero order reaction has a slope of -k. However, is it possible for k to be positive as well? Thank you!

For [A] vs. Time and a zero order reaction, I think k is always equal to negative slope. We only get a positive k when we have a second order reaction for the plot of 1/[A] vs. Time.

but the slope is -k. So wouldn't k have to be positive, for there to be a negative slope?
