Which order reactions depend on initial concentration?

Hi,

I believe zero order, first order, and second order all depend on initial concentration when calculating rate laws.

The integrated rate laws of zero, first and second order reactions depend on initial concentration because all of them contain [A]0. However, when deriving the half-life equations, only zero and second order reactions depend on initial concentration.

0 order reaction half-life: t1/2 = [A]0/2k
1st order reaction half-life: t1/2 = ln2/k
2nd order reaction half-life: t1/2 = 1/k[A]0
