All reactants zero order?
Could there ever be a reaction in which all reactants are zero order and thus the reaction itself is zeroth order? What would be an example of this?

Re: All reactants zero order?
I mean, I don't see a scenario where it couldn't be possible. . but yeah just know that these type of reactions are typically found when a material that is required for a reaction to proceed-surface/catalyst-is saturated by the reactants. Hope this helps! :D

Yes, it could happen if they all depend on the presence of a catalyst.

quoting in case an example comes up

Re: All reactants zero order?
If the catalyst was saturated with just reactants, then the catalyst would be the main driving force of the reaction and it would only be dependent on reaction rate, or k, in a zeroth order reaction. This would be possible in a real life reaction if the catalyst was saturated completely and the concentration of the reactants was meaningless.

In theory I do believe this is possible, however I am not of what an example would be. Could somebody please give a real life application in which this would be the case.
