### Half-life Formulas

I know we have to know how to derive the integrated rate laws, but will we have to solve for the half-life formulas as well? or will we just have to recognize which half-life formula is for which order?

I'm pretty sure you only need to know which formula goes with which order, but I mean, understanding how to get the half-life would probably help a lot not only on the test but on conceptual problems as well.
