Orders higher than Second

Postby Maleeha Amir 2E » Sun Mar 17, 2024 8:21 pm

We know the integrated rate laws for 0, first and second order equations. How would we get the integrated rate laws for the higher order reactions?

You would do the exact same derivation process that we did in class for the lower orders.

Hi! I think for orders higher than second order you would need to derive the integrated rate laws that would be dependent on what order you are trying to get to.

Hi, there are many ways to get higher order of reactions just, zero, first, and second are the most common but it could be any integer.
