does the order determine molecularity?

is the overall order of a reaction the same as its molecularity?

Molecularity refers to the number of molecules that come together to react in an elementary reaction, and is equal to the sum of the coefficients of this elementary reaction. So, if you're talking about an elementary reaction, yes!

An elementary reaction is a chemical reaction in which one or more chemical species react directly to form products in a single reaction step and with a single transition state.
