### converting from keV to joules

In problem 1.23 we have to convert 140.511keV to joules. Should we worry about memorizing this conversion for the test?

I think we don't because it was one of the conversions located in the front of test one.

You do not have to memorize that! The conversion of eV to J is given, and as for the k part, you would just use the conversion of (1000J / 1kJ) - because of the prefix kilo.

All important conversion rates are given on the test.

I do not think that you have to memorize that. All the conversions you need are usually given on the front page.

You do not have to worry about memorizing the conversion because it is given on the front of the test.

I get confused because the list of equations he provides us tells us nano/centi/kilo but doesn't tell us about the other units we have to memorize but the equation sheet also tells you what one eV is equal to so you can just deduce from there
