Values of Each Symbol
Will the values of the symbols be given on the exam or should we just memorize them? (e.g. Planck's constant or speed of light)

Re: Values of Each Symbol
I believe professor Lavelle said that there will be a cover page full of constants, like the speed of light, etc. on the tests so they will be given to you. It should be the very front page and the constants should be listed, but they won't tell you WHICH constant to use for which problem so you should know when to use them.
Hope this helps!

The constants will be given on the test. You could find the equations and constants given on his website under "Constants and Equations"

Re: Values of Each Symbol
All values and equations are given to you! But I suggest for the sake of time on your tests to memorize the more commonly used values such as Planck's constant (h) or the speed of light (c) or even the mass of an electron 9.109*10^-31 kg.
