Focus 1B.5 Homework.. Electron Volts

Postby Emma Joy Schaetz 1E » Sat Oct 19, 2019 2:52 pm

Can someone explain to me what the energy 140.511 keV means? I am unsure how to go about converting and understanding electron volts vs. joules

it's just another way of representing energy. the conversion between eV and Joules is: 1 eV = 1.6× 10^-19 J
