Exercise 1A.9

In this problem I was given the frequency of 300MHz, which I converted into 300x10^6 Hz, so that I would be able to find the wavelength by dividing c=3.00x10^8m.s. by 300x10^6 Hz, which gave me an answer of 1, which I believed to mean 1 meter, but the answer in the book says 1 nm. I am not sure if my convertion was wrong or what I did wrong.

I believe you actually got the right answer which is 1m. On the book's answer, I see 1m for wavelength for 300Mhz on a chart

I also got 1m. I think that the answer at the back of the book just has the wrong units.
