Determining the order of reaction, rate law, and rate constant with multiple reactants involves conducting experiments with various initial concentrations while keeping other factors constant. By observing how changes in reactant concentrations affect the initial rate of reaction, we can establish the order of reaction for each reactant. From this, the rate law equation is constructed to show how the rate of reaction depends on reactant concentrations. Using experimental data from one reaction, the rate constant can be calculated by plugging in the values of concentrations and rate into the rate law equation. Verification of the rate law and rate constant is done by comparing predicted rates with experimental rates from different initial concentrations. If these rates match closely, it confirms the accuracy of the determined rate law and rate constant.
