### Winter 2015 Final #6B

For the pre-equilibrium approach step, I used K(1) instead of k(1)/k(-1). Would I get marked off for that?

They are the same thing but in kinetics it is better to have equations with rate constants. We would accept both unless the question specifically stated that all equations must include only rate constants.
